Hours: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Our programming is flexible, in that there are several groups which have been inspired by the ideas generated by the peer community. We continually ask for input so that Hope can continue to meet the community needs.
Every day we have a recovery group, in which we share our recovery experiences and hear that others have been where we have been. We also have at least one educational group (Writing at noon on Tuesday, Sane and Sober at 1:30 on Wednesday, and Art is now on Thursday afternoon.)
We have social time and activities for community members to just hang out and have fun, too! We have games, a movie on Thursday morning, and the occasional picnic or two. We're always open to suggestions.
We are fortunate to have some peers from other agencies helping us out throughout the week. (Our core staff work through the Boston Medical Center.)
WRAP is a personalized plan that will cover the four areas of Mental Health Recovery: Five key concepts, Wellness Toolbox, Six parts of WRAP, and Recovery topics. WRAP is a 10 week workshop that offers a certification if one attends 8 out of the 10 sessions. The program is open to everyone wanting to write a WRAP including people with lived experience of mental illness. Please call Idony Lisle at 617-626-8687 or firstname.lastname@example.org for future classes.
